First Step Forward

Let's face it--there's probably a little fear in all of us that we'll say something stupid, boring, nonconsequential. Maybe the greatest fear is to lack relevance in life. Well, I've made a decision, prompted by the courage of others. I'm casting aside any of those aforementioned concerns and starting a personal blog of my journey.

My passion to follow hard after Jesus Christ is increasing. When I come to the end of my life, if I can look back and see that I have done my best to influence others for Christ, it will be a life well-spent. So this "farewell to randomness" is devoted to consistently consider the life of Jesus, and to inspire readers to engage in relationship with the Christ. I believe He is the most purposeful person who ever lived--no "randomness" whatsoever. And along the way, you'll read a few of random thoughts on my journey.

May the reflections of this blog in some way influence you for good. Here's to the pursuit of purposeful living--a farewell to randomness.

Awesome! So how did you get the words to go around the picture? I couldn't figure that out. Here's to saying "farewell to randomness"!

Christina & Deb,

Thanks for checking out the blog. Christina, don't know how I got the text to wrap around the photo. It just happened when I inserted the photo. Yes Debra, I've seen the "blog-light." Oh that I will not revert to the darkness!

Hey PB,

You could post your devotions for the "Hope Lives" on here. I know your emailing them but this is another source. Just a thought!
